Will Qualifier work with my email provider?
Most likely, yes. You can connect:
- Gmail / Google Workspace, by signing in with Google
- Outlook / Exchange (Microsoft 365), by signing in with Microsoft
- Other (IMAP/SMTP), for any other provider that supports IMAP and SMTP
Qualifier detects your provider from your email address. If it's Google or Microsoft, you're sent to their sign-in page. Otherwise you get the Connect via IMAP/SMTP form.
Connect with IMAP and SMTP
- Enter your Email address, Username and Password / App password.
- Under IMAP (incoming), enter the server and port, and choose whether to use SSL/TLS.
- Under SMTP (outgoing), enter the server and port, and choose SSL/TLS or STARTTLS.
- Click Connect.
If you don't know your server settings, search for "IMAP settings" plus your provider's name, or ask your email provider or IT team. Many providers require an app password instead of your normal password.
