Exclude companies and contacts from your campaigns

You can make sure your campaigns never contact certain companies or people. Go to Settings in the sidebar, open the Company tab and find Exclusions. The lists apply to every campaign in your company. Enter one item per row, then click Save.

  • Your customers: companies that are already customers. An easy way to fill this in is to export your customer list from your CRM and paste in the company names. If your CRM is connected to Qualifier, it handles this instead (see Integrate Qualifier with your CRM).
  • Excluded companies: other companies to skip, such as competitors, partners, suppliers or companies you're already talking to.
  • Excluded domains: every email address at these domains is skipped. Useful when a company's name is spelled in many different ways.
  • Excluded email addresses: individual people to skip, while still allowing others at the same company.

Company names are matched by name, so check the spelling. And if a company is in one of the first three lists, nobody there is contacted, even if you only meant to exclude one person.

Tip: to lower the risk of contacting competitors, also add your own industry under Excluded industries in your targeting.
